22" Height Zero Flex Weathering Steel Planter Panels

When you need the strongest, cleanest lines on the job site, Zero Flex delivers. Straightcurve's most robust CorTen steel edging features a thicker top lip that holds its shape under pressure — perfect for deep raised garden beds, retaining walls, and any application where rigidity matters. Build a fully enclosed planter box, a straight barrier run, or anything in between.

Zero Flex comes in three heights to suit any project:

  • 9.5" Height — Low-profile edging and shallow raised beds, ideal for patios and hard surfaces
  • 15.75" Height — Mid-height option, great for accessible gardening and tiered designs
  • 22" Height — You are here. The most popular height for deep raised garden beds and statement planters

💡 Pro Tip: Mix Heights on Sloped Sites — All three Zero Flex heights (9.5", 15.75", and 22") can be connected together and leveled at the top. As the ground rises, step down to a shorter panel — so you're never burying more steel than necessary. A smart technique for terraced gardens, sloped retaining walls, and hillside installations.

🛠️ Use our free Planter Box Configurator to design your layout and get an exact parts list.

Note: The configurator is designed for fully closed planter boxes (square, rectangular, or L-shaped). Zero Flex is also ideal for open-ended applications — single-sided retaining walls, 2-sided corners, 3-sided U-shapes, and straight barrier runs. For those layouts, use the configurator as a starting point and adjust quantities as needed, or email us and we'll help you work out exactly what you need.

Choose the bracing method that suits your project:

1. Cross Bracing Strap — Best for parallel panels up to 75" wide. Straps are 40" long and break off in 2" increments; two straps can be combined for wider spans.

  • 1 per Medium Panel box (31.5" packs)

2. Universal Bracing — Turnbuckle tie-back system. Hooks to the pole bracket on the back of the panel (bracket included). Adjustable chain pegs into the ground; tighten with the turnbuckle. Creates a constant push/pull tension once backfilled to prevent bowing.

  • External Insert — 4" section with a 15° angle for an outward curve
